Why is it that all these tech journalists all think that every one should have jumped to Windows Vista and when Windows 7 comes out that they well have to jump to it too. Most people wont use it since there computers now run great under Windows XP and don't need up upgrade the computer just to run Vista. And the companies that use XP don't see the reason ether since all there tasks can be done on XP.
Ya if you buy a new computer the new hardware well do good with Vista and 7, but as some journalists have pointed out that most computer operating systems don't have any big changes other then visual. And if you are doing text documents and email why would you need to have a cool looking interface since it doesn't serve to help you do the task.
Another thing to know is that most schools, companies, and the such have a 4 year cycle for there computers and tech. With that the last cycle or one coming up they choose to keep with XP since it works well, and some of the issues with Vista. Even if they want to jump to 7 they well do lots of testing only after its been out for over a year since most of the time it takes 1-2 years for it to be stable with every thing they may do.
Any way that's my rant about why every one doesn't just jump out and install the latest for any reason unless you like to do that and that's not something for an organization to do.
