So I was about to turn off the TV tonight and I looked at the guide to see what was on, and what do you know "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" was playing in HD! So I did get into it late but it looked great. This was way different then when I first saw it on a old TV running off of a VHS.

So when you can see the difference between standard TV and high definition TV its vary nice. HDTV is nice, more screen real estate but also the detail and better audio is nice. I had HDTV last year in the fall, and there was about 20 cable stations and you paid more for it. But now that we got a new TV in my new life, the selection of channels on cable is much nicer.

Well we bought a new TV, the one we were using was Juli's brothers that he didn't take when he had to move out. Its a Vizio 32" LCD, a not too expansive and has a good picture. This was something we have been planning on getting for a little wile now, but bills payed and the extra money worked out to do it.
